The search for a man who went missing off the Wexford coast has recommenced this morning, according to a source from the Department of Transport. “The lifeboats were sent out about half six this morning,” according to the source,”‘and were on scene from around seven onwards.” Naval divers have been deployed since 7:45, and the search has been assisted by local fishermen.

The fisherman from Wexford has been missing since 12:40 yesterday, when some of his friends came across his abandoned boat, the Lenora Jacinta, near Kilmore Quay. Two lifeboats and the Coastguard helicopter were dispatched in a search that lasted until sundown, but as of this morning the missing man is yet to be located.
